ROLE OVERVIEW

A leadership seat with a technical core. You will hire, mentor, and set the bar for a team of project managers, and personally lead our largest and most complex deployments. Tapway ships software that runs on cameras and servers inside our clients’ physical environments, so this role needs real depth: a software development background, fluency in CCTV and video surveillance, and hands-on knowledge of on-premise deployment at scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and lead the delivery function: hire, mentor, and manage PMs; set standards, playbooks, and KPIs.
  • Own portfolio-level delivery — timelines, budgets, quality — across all concurrent projects.
  • Personally lead the largest programs: CCTV rollouts, multi-site on-premise deployments, agentic AI initiatives.
  • Partner with engineering leadership on capacity, resource planning, and release sequencing.
  • Drive adoption of AI agent tooling across delivery workflows — reporting, risk detection, automation.
  • Serve as senior escalation point for enterprise clients and strategic partners.
  • Oversee vendor, hardware, and network partners to keep deployments dependable and scalable.
MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related technical field.
  • 6+ years managing software development and/or system integration projects, with 2+ years leading PMs.
  • Strong software development background — can review technical designs and challenge estimates credibly.
  • Deep experience with CCTV / video surveillance: IP cameras, NVRs, VMS, video analytics, multi-site deployments.
  • Expertise in on-premise deployment — Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, networking, enterprise infra and security.
  • Hands-on experience with AI and AI agents, including agentic / LLM-agent delivery.
  • Proven experience building cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent in a leadership capacity.
  • Smart city or IoT programs (context brokering, digital twins, data platforms).
  • Built a PMO or delivery function from the ground up.
  • Hardware/vendor procurement and supply-chain dependency management.
